It will begin with an analysis of the expected global macroeconomic conditions and challenges that could impact the regulatory landscape. Emerging risks that would be covered more extensively include areas in sustainable finance, the transformative role of digitalisation and AI, and the potential dynamic changes within traditional markets. Participants will gain insights on regulatory issues that will could shape regional markets, helping to inform policy direction moving forward.

​The workshop discusses the major themes identified in the Risk Outlook 2023, with a view to providing regulators a better understanding of current and emerging risks and the tools needed to identify, monitor and mitigate these risks in their respective jurisdictions. In addition to this session, participants were also briefed on the risk assessment and scoring frameworks used by IOSCO, followed by a Q&A session.
